Tottenham have not been impressive this season. Of the 11 games that have been passed in all competitions, The Lilywhites only won three times. Mauricio Pochettino's team even lost 0-3 to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.
As a Champions League finalist team, Tottenham's current achievements are certainly disappointing. Eriksen even said this was the most difficult time for Tottenham.
"This is really the most difficult time for me at Tottenham. The first year when I came might be a little bit up and down, but since Pochettino came in 2014 it has been a success," Eriksen was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"Hope for us is at the same level, but right now it's really different. We have to win and that's the feeling we have as players," he continued.

Tottenham can be regarded as one of the clubs that did not aggressively shop in the transfer market last summer. Of the four players who came, only Tanguy Ndombele could be said to have good quality.
The North London club failed to find a right-back substitute Kieran Trippier who went to Atletico Madrid.
"Everyone is professional and in all clubs there must be someone who talks about the players leaving. That factor has nothing to do with how we have worked throughout the season," said the Danish midfielder.
"If I, as a footballer, accept all the speculation, I will be uncertain. But I know that it is not true. It does not affect me with what is reported," he said.
